Senior Change Management Advisor

Opportunity: As a Senior Change Management Advisor, you will serve in a client-facing role focusing on the people side of change, including changes brought about by systems, processes, organizational design, and M&A transitions. Our goal is to make our clients successful – we do this by creating compelling stories, minimizing disruption, identifying risks and offering mitigation strategies and solutions to enable faster adoption. You will be responsible for interacting with Sr. Leaders and their teams in order to deliver our suite of Change, Training, Leadership and Organizational advisory services.

Key Capabilities

  • Working with our existing and potential clients to understand their business and culture and applying the appropriate Change Management strategies, tactics, and tools.

  • Managing projects from start to finish. This includes business development through project closeout. Supporting clients in their transformation journey through the design and implementation of effective organizational change management programs. This includes developing change strategies, identifying stakeholders and how they are impacted, and developing plans (engagement, communication, and/or training) to drive faster adoption.

  • This includes business development – to us this means building meaningful relationships - no cold calling here! and leading an internal initiative for Switch to support and contribute to the culture and growth of the company (e.g., team member engagement, communication, and developing processes).

Job Description

  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate understanding and experience leading complex change initiatives. This includes leveraging and building upon our foundational methodology and Change approach to make change easier.

    Grow the Business: We have a thoughtful approach to serving our clients. This means you take the lead to provide introductions to new and potential clients and participate in business development efforts and meet the sales metrics each year.

    Leadership: Exhibit effective leadership, development, and prioritization skills. This includes training, encouraging, and mentoring more junior team members.

    Thought Partnership: Bringing forward new, creative and innovative ideas – this includes topics that will help our company grow (internal) as well as relevant ideas to help our clients (external).

    Effective Communication: Proven communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate and manage stakeholder relationships within large complex organizations.

  • Ability to translate organizational strategic visions into structured plans and tactics to aid in employee adoption.

    Ability to work in a high-paced role, managing deliverables and stakeholders while maintaining autonomy and self-motivation.

    Leveraging our suite of Change Management tools and branding to make change easier for our clients.

    Demonstrating curiosity and drive for thinking differently, with an ability to identify and effectively navigate obstacles and respectfully challenge while remaining empathetic and patient.

    Using open collaboration and teaming techniques when working with clients. We don’t use “consultant speak”. Make your words effective and get to the heart of what is needed.

    Exuding the utmost level of professionalism with clients, while also working to make lasting relationships with your contacts.

  • 15+ years of change management experience.

    Qualified business development and sales experience, demonstrating ability and success in this area.

    Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

    Ability to be flexible and adaptable and comfortable working with ambiguity.

    A team player who can work collaboratively with others while maintaining a leadership and entrepreneurial mentality. Treat all team members and clients with kindness, respect and eagerness to serve.

    Professionalism with clients, while being authentic and developing lasting relationships.

    Leading a purpose-driven approach to your work to bring out the best in yourself and others.
